Logo Explanation

Derived from that of the Glenn Struble Manufacturing Co., a world leader in the fly fishing industry, our logo retains some of its original elements such as Glenn Struble's initials "GS" shown by the curves, and the suggestion of two fish intertwined. We have added new elements symbolizing the meaning behind the Struble Foundation's work. The blue background represents water which is Struble Manufacturing's connection to the fly fishing industry and a molecule on which we all depend for health and life. The water element also symbolizes the fluidity required for health and the element that unites all living things. The intertwining curves representing two fish now symbolize the importance of human relationships in a healthy life. The central red disk represents the human heart, the first organ to form in the embryo, the object of the research we support, and the symbolic center of life.
